Bridal Hair Up Training Courses

Hair on the Move is pleased to announce that due to popular demand we will be running two intensive 1 day hair up training courses, a Beginners Hair Up course and an Advanced Hair Up course starting July 2012.


Overview

The Beginners course is aimed at individuals with little or no prior hairdressing or hair up styling experience, wishing to learn the basic techniques of hair up styling and create beautiful hair up styles for weddings and special occasions or who want to start a career in the industry.

The Advanced course is designed for participants with some experience in hairdressing or wedding hair or make-up, e.g. hairdressers, hairstylists, wedding hair stylists and make-up artists, who wish to develop their hair up styling skills or want to break in the wedding hair industry.

 

Hands-On Practical Courses

Both courses are hands-on practical courses so you will spend less time sitting and listening and more time practicing the skills you came to learn. You will also learn tips of the trade and best practices and have plenty of opportunities to ask questions throughout the day.


Learn the Latest Hair Trends

You will learn a selection of the latest bridal hair styles and techniques and use hair extensions and accessories. Everything you will need for the day will be provided, including all equipment, hair grips, etc. so you just have to turn up. If there is a particular style what you would like to learn please bring pictures of the style and Ivy will discuss how it can be achieved and even demonstrate it if time allows.


Course Material and Starter Kit to Take Away

Each participant will receive a starter pack including a pin tail comb, hair styling brush and hair grips so you can start putting your newly learned skills into practice straight away! You are also welcome to take your own photos throughout the day.

All courses will be delivered by Ivy Tan who has over 20years experience in the wedding hair industry and has done 1000s of brides over her career so you will be able to draw on Ivy's vast experience in the industry.

Small Groups

We limit our classes to small groups of 4-6 people to ensure each participant receives the individual attention they need.
